Established in 1995, Golf underwent a complete overhaul between 2004 and 2006 under the guidance of José María Olazábal to meet the exacting standards of international and professional golf. The result is a sprawling, meticulously-maintained par-72 course spanning 6,246 metres, with 14 of the 18 holes offering a view of the green from the tee and the remaining four visible from the second stroke. For professionals, it is a par-70 course. In addition to the championship course, Pula Golf features an expansive two-tiered Driving-Range, complete with a covered section, and two Putting-Greens. It also boasts a Short game-Area featuring three pitching Greens and a large Chipping-Green, ideal for honing a variety of shots around the greens. The course is home to a Golf Academy and fitness centre9 and hosts an impressive roster of amateur tournaments throughout the year. It has also played host to several high-profile events, including the PGA European Tour Championships Mallorca.
