Golf Maioris was conceived by Romeo Sala and designed by German architect Dieter Cabus. Despite being one of the younger courses on the island, having opened in 2006, it has already established a reputation for excellence. Situated a mere 15-minute drive from Palma airport, this par-72 championship standard course stretches 6,347 metres and is crafted to withstand the rigours of the hot Spanish summers, ensuring year-round superb condition. The course is nestled within a classic Mallorcan landscape, featuring pine, olive, and carob trees and generously proportioned fairways. With four lakes and two island greens - the par-5 fourth and the par-3 13th - golfers are sure to relish the challenges presented by the course. The opening hole, a gentle par-4, is followed by a range of tests, albeit one that has been designed to cater to players of all levels. The fairway on the 2nd hole, for instance, features strategically placed pine trees, while the greens are flanked by steep run-offs on the right, left and rear, adding an element of precision to approach play.
