The Open Course is the most well-known of Real Club de Golf El Prat’s five loops having hosted European Tour and Challenge Tour events – most notably the Spanish Open in 2011 and 2015. Comprising the “Abajo” and “Arriba” nine-hole layouts, it is the most demanding course at our club and visitors will end up in trouble if they have a bad day with their driver. Greg Norman designed Continental Europe's first golf course at RCG El Prat. The course offers 45 unforgettable holes that can be split into five 9-hole courses, providing a combination of up to 9 different courses. There are two main courses available for play: OPEN, where major tournaments are held, and BLUE, which is suitable for players of all levels. RCG El Prat allows for infinite experiences by offering multiple variations on how to play the courses, ensuring that each stroke is different from the last. The fairways have been designed to make the most of the natural slope of the terrain, preserving the area's native features, such as wooded areas, open spaces, farmland, natural drainage, and sloping hills. The greens are large and rolling, providing great variety in pin placement. Playing at El Prat is a true pleasure, with each course offering an unforgettable experience.
