The new Guadalhorce course, boasts expansive greens crafted by Miguel Ángel Jiménez, presents itself as a challenging par 72 course. It's divided into two distinct sections: the front nine embraces the classic English "parkland" style, featuring gentle hills and level fairways, making it a pleasant stroll even on the warmest summer days. With only two uphill slopes - the 1st and 5th holes, the front nine poses challenges with various out-of-bounds areas and fast, expansive greens. The back nine reveals sculpted landscapes, introducing raised greens and diverse fairways. Water hazards come into play on the 10th, 11th, 14th, 16th, and 17th holes, while the large greens with tricky contours add to the complexity of the second half. The course is adorned with a rich variety of trees along with several serene lakes.
