Opened in 2007, Alferini Golf is part of the upscale development surrounding the Villa Padierna Hotel, and one of three courses at Villa Padierna Golf Club, alongside Flamingos and Tramores. Designed by Green Keeper Cristóbal Guerrer, the 6,641-metre course is one of the few par-73 courses on the Costa del Sol. Integrated seamlessly into the natural landscape, water plays a key role, with four large lakes, including two that completely surround the green at the par-3 14th hole. The wide greens balance the narrow, challenging fairways, demanding precision from players. Alferini is a difficult course, even for low-handicap golfers, and a buggy is recommended for navigating the hilly terrain.
